 Behavior Counseling for Self-Management

Creating change - and making it last - is tough. Without the right tools and techniques, it’s easy to be sabotaged by old habits or other temptations.

In behavior counseling for self-management, you’ll learn:

  • What gets in the way of lasting change

  • Behavior principles that hold true for all of us - and how they can help you achieve your goals

  • How to change your environment and your habits to support yourself in creating a new routine

And… we’ll make a personalized behavior management plan that’s specifically for you and your goals.

Your plan will include high level goals, incremental goals, suggestions for environmental changes, how to ask friends and family for support, and how to reward yourself.

Schedule a free phone consultation, during which we can also book your first session and send you paperwork.

Show up to your first session - we’ll review your priorities and goals, and get to know each other.

 Typically, we’ll do weekly sessions for 4-6, and track your progress with outcome rating scales.

When you or I feel that it’s time to wrap up therapy and decide next steps, we can do so together. You can always return later if you decide you need support again.
